Pere Planque (OLA) Nursery & Primary School, Agbor…

The name of the school is Pere Planque (OLA) Nursery and primary school, Boji-Boji, Owa, Agbor, Delta State. It is in the same compound with the convent. .It was founded in September 18, 2006 in memory of the centenary celebration of the death of Very Rev. Fr. Augustine Planque, founder of the sisters of Our Lady of Apostles and also in response to the local community of Agbor who desired that their children be given a high standard of education.

The school began with the first building (phase 1) and the second phase of the building was erected between year 2009 and 2010. Presently the school has a population of 575 pupils from Daycare to Primary six. It is hoped that the third phase of the school will provide an extention so that more children can be enrolled.

The first set of the pupils graduated from the school in August 2011 with distinctions and are now in different secondary schools of their choice.

The school offers a holistic education, ensuring the nurturing of each student physically, spiritually, emotionally and psychologically. Admission to the sacraments is with the consent of parents.
